Cranberry Lake, NY

When you play an outdoor gig, there is always the danger you might summon a thunderstorm! Even though the audience was well protected under the sturdy pavilion, we were all very glad the rain held off. Our highlight was being treated Daniel’s incredible piano improv, inspired by the impending storm. Daniel turned off the lights and we were able to watch flashes light up Cranberry Lake as he gave the storm a musical voice. Eventually we were forced to closed the show early and packed up the instruments before the rain fell.

This night Koehler & Kelly was the “opening act” before Mother Nature started her spectacular show. #thunderstruck.

“Having Koehler & Kelly as part of our summer music program was a perfect choice for us! The music, dancing, and even the background information shared on the varieties of music played were a big hit with our patrons and those who attended the concert--they were asking me to invite Gretchen and Daniel back almost before they'd even left! Working with them was a dream, they are great communicators and exceptional at what they do.” --Kate Kosior -Director, Clifton Community Library
