Playing in the Elements -Blog

Hey there from downstate New York!

Since many of our performances were canceled due to Covid 19, it was wonderful to have the opportunity to safely play outside at one of our favorite spots, Mohonk Mountain House. We masked up, did our soundchecks and I tied back my hair in response to the wind (hey, great air exchange is a plus during the pandemic, so no complaints from me!) We had scheduled two performances, a porch and boat dock experience, but boat dock concert was moved at the last moment to a porch due to sprinkles. Still, everyone remained in great spirits as it was lovely to play music for a live audience on the gorgeous porches at this Victorian castle.
