THISTLE & SHAMROCK

All Fiona Ritchie of the Thistle and Shamrock had to do was to say "Grrrrrrrretchen" with her Scottish brogue and I would have been satisfied. But the host of one of NPR’s most popular and longest running shows went on to play a cut from our new release—"The Waxwing," a beautiful air written by late Scottish tunesmith Ian Hardie called "The Unreel." What a both humbling and thrilling moment to hear myself on one of my favorite NPR programs with an episode featuring "the best new sounds from artists both rising and well-established."

THISTLE RADIO

In the several years since The Waxwing’s debut, Fiona has played us numerous times on Thistle Radio. A privilege to be in such amazing company.
